My work focuses on relationships and the In-Between Space where they are formed—not as an empty gap, but as a generative field where energy accumulates and new connections emerge. I understand relationships as fluid systems that continuously shift and overlap across bodies, materials, spaces, and cultures. Based in Andong, and shaped by experiences in Seoul, New York, and Paris, my practice reflects layered cultural conditions where different sensibilities intersect. Using fabric as my primary medium, I approach it as a skin-like material that both separates and connects. Through cutting, layering, and assembling, I construct textile-based installations that embody time, memory, and relational structures. Rather than representing relationships, my work creates immersive environments where they can be physically experienced as evolving, energetic systems.
